Each Tuesday Dove Vivi supports a local nonprofit with 10% of our evening'sproceeds. The 10% Tuesday recipient for the month of May is City Repair. City Repair is an organized group action that began in Portland, Oregon with the idea that localization - of culture, of economy, of decision-making- is a necessary foundation of sustainability. By reclaiming urban spaces to create community-oriented places, we plant the seeds for greater neighborhood communication, empower our communities and nurture our local culture. Throughout the year we educate the community with workshops on all forms of sustainability. As most entirely volunteer-driven nonprofit organization, we rely solely on the support of our community! Our annual permaculture and natural building festival called The Village Building Convergence is on May 29th to June 7, 2015 and we are celebrating 15 years of Thriving it Up!
